Hi everyone, my name is Shay,

I’m reaching out on behalf of a dear family who mean the world to me; two amazing parents and their two beautiful kids. The Walker family. They’ve been doing everything they can to stay afloat, but right now, they’re facing some really tough times and need a little help to get through.

Krysten is currently working a full-time job and she's putting in every bit of effort possible to provide for everyone. Marcus is struggling with mental health challenges, and unfortunately, he doesn’t have consistent access to the supports he needs. With the rising cost of living, it’s become harder and harder for them to make ends meet and things have reached a breaking point.

Their power is about to be shut off, and they’ve recently been told their child care is in jeopardy because of overdue bills. Without these core needs being met this could make their situation detrimental not only for the kids but for the parents as well.

They’re doing everything they can to keep their heads above water; budgeting, cutting costs, and reaching out for help where possible. But right now, they need a boost to get through this rough patch.

We’re hoping to raise **$5,000** to help cover:

- Overdue power and utility bills

- Child care so both parents can work or access support

- Basic living costs like groceries, gas, and other essentials

I’ve seen firsthand how hard they’ve tried to push through every obstacle with love and determination. They’re the kind of people who always put others first, and it breaks my heart to see them struggling like this.
