While I personally disagree with many of this administration's new policies, laws, etc., this one seemed particularly cruel. All dreamers were brought to this country by their parents without option or say. Many of them only know America as their home, and English their language. These are citizens who were in our classrooms, on our sports teams and most importnatly always part of our communities. DACA allowed them temporary legal status to work and live without fear of deporation. Let's show them our support, in the same way they have shown us theirs.

Bio: My name is Ariana Sisti and I am currently residing in East Village of NYC. The funds will be deposited into my personal account, then I will be writing a personal check to the Immigrant Justice Corps (http://justicecorps.org/) (pics to follow) to pay for DACA application renewals. For privacy/safety concerns, we cannot provide the names of the recipients, but if you have questions about the organization you can contact Stephanie Park (PM me for phone/email). Application renewals start Monday at 10 AM, so I plan to withdrawal the funds then. My relationship to this cause is that one of my closest friends (Stephanie Park) is a dreamer herself, and has worked at the Immigrant Justice Corps for two years.
