One of our local families need our help! They are residents of Haywood County, NC and have lost their home and 95% of their belongings due to the impacts of Hurricane Helene. They have a son in 8th grade, a daughter in 2nd grade, and another daughter who is a toddler. This family is near and dear to our hearts, so we appreciate any assistance we can provide with the help of our wonderful community.

They are safe and staying in an AirBnB in Sylva. They only have the rental until Sunday, October 6th, and will then have to find another place to stay. First and foremost, this money will ensure they have housing for the foreseeable future, and will help them with their basic needs.
