It saddens us to share that our father, Gene Daily, suddenly passed on Monday, September 1st. His passing comes as a shock to all of us as we know he had more life to live. While we cannot plan on what life hands us, we really wish it would. Our family lost our mother, Linda, last December in 2024 and we are still grieving her, as we know you all are too.

Our friends and loved ones shared an amazing level of support when Linda passed and we are beyond grateful. Unfortunately we are once again asking for the same for our father. Gene was a witty, loving, caring individual to all that got to know him. When it came to football, Gene was your guy.

He was a wonderful husband, a loving father, and the best grandfather one could ask for. The Daily family is reaching out at this time to help with the cost of cremation. Although our parents did great things, they were not the best at planning for the future. If you have some memories of Gene you would like to share, we would be honored to read them. We could not be more humbled by all of your support.
