On November 9th, 2025, my apartment unit that I shared with my sister Kayleen Blake and brother-in-law Paul Blake at 4638 S 1St Milwaukee, Wisconsin caught on fire at 6 in the morning. My brother-in-law lost his life in the fire. Yesterday, 11/18/2025, I lost my sister due to having a heart attack trying to save her husband in the fire. I was on the phone with 911 trying to get help for all three of us. My brother-in-law was an amputee and I am as well, but he couldn't get out of the bedroom at the time of the fire. Everything in the apartment is gone and I have to start over again without them. We were a close family and now I have to move forward without them. I need to find a place to go due to the fire we were in. I don't have anything and need help getting back on my feet. Currently i am staying 3 hours away from Milwaukee due to having no where else to go after being discharged from St. Luke's Hospital after suffering smoke inhalation and chest pains. I just need help from my community for a safe place to stay in Milwaukee so I can be near my son and we can move forward together and moan together of the loss of my sister and brother-in-law together in our place. Kayleen and Paul Blake were sweethearts at South Division High School and were married for over 50 years. I have to make plans to bury them both. Paul was an Army Vet and have to make plans to bury them both together but need help please.
