Hi
My name is Nayab and I will tell you my story though it makes me feel ashamed and depressed of my life story.I was born in a country where women like me can only be born to serve as wife and mother and daughter in law.
My parents got me married...it was an arranged marriage...it was never about love but deep devotion to family and to take it as God s will for me.I married my husband, he was a kind man, I thought to myself,I was lucky to have someone who actually was kind and was looking after me.God blessed us with 2 beautiful children currently 6 and 7yrs old, one boy and one girl.Everything seemed perfect, I was at peace but fate was cruel and soon I started to forget how to smile.
In 2024 I went to wake up my husband but he was motionless, cold,lifeless...
My entire world collapsed...my husband,my provider, the father of my children was gone...
When we got married we went to live with his father and did my best to look after the entire household. After my husband died, his father kicked me and my children out saying that he has no obligation to keep me and his grandchildren in the house as his son is dead.I tried to reason with him to explain that I have nowhere to go, I was a housewife caring for children and my husband and he knew very well women were not allowed to work, but he threatened me if I dont leave he will kill me.
I was suicidal thinking where am I supposed to go, who is going to help me raise these innocent children.
My poor mother told me to come home. Her home as you can see in the pictures is falling apart. We only have 2 rooms and 6 people:my father,my small brother,my mother, myself and my 2 children. One morning i could hear the rain wildly hitting the window and the roof outside then my little girl said:"Mommy, water is coming from the sky".The water was pouring through the broken roof on us,the walls were cracked and I could feel the wind blowing through...
I wept and wept not knowing what I can do.My mother could not do anything,my father was old,he was a shepherd all his life...my small brother was working but was not enough...he was the only one trying to provide but there is no hope to fix the house...it was barely enough for food...
My culture may seem very strange for many people but I cannot change the fact that I was born in the country and culture that I am in.I met a friend from a different country who told me people would try to help me to at least have a roof over our heads although I am ashamed and not expecting to open your heart for me, I am kindly asking you to look at my children as they are innocent and they don't deserve to live in these conditions.Government doesn't help,I have no help from other people and I only have hope in God and you to help me give my children a home where water doesn't pour on them in their sleep.
Please help me raise this amount so I can fix the house and I will also send video to show you what people gathering together for a noble cause can do.
Please donate as little as £5,every little helps...
Thank you and God bless you wherever you are!
