Hello fellow supporters. As a firefighter, I’ve had a culture of support engrained in me most of my adult life. When people are in time of need, we step up and answer the call, and I learned today that several of my closest friends have, or will, face a loss of income. I’m reaching out to all those in the fire and emergency services world for assistance in helping those friends.
Due to circumstances that are hard to understand and quite frankly, ridiculous, my friends are faced with a loss of income. My goal is to replenish that loss.
I want to be upfront and let you know that I can’t release many details about the situations they face and I realize that will require quite a bit of trust that your support will be used appropriately. It will. If this deters you from supporting my efforts, I completely understand.
My goal of $7,000 is based on up to ten friends who will likely lose $500-$700 of income each. I want to replenish the funds to them so these individuals and their families are able to soften the blow.
This is my first ever fundraiser and I hope it will be the last. Not everyone will agree with my efforts, but I am fully prepared to ignore the haters and simply help those in need. If you can give, please do and if you choose not to, don’t.
Please share this across our responder networks and let’s help!
*Disclaimer: There are a lot of people in need. Some situations are much worse than others but to me and those around me, this is important for many reasons. I want to make right, the wrongs of others.
