Emer here raising money for a family friend's cause. I am doing the Women's Mini Marathon on June 2nd to raise funds for the Little Princess Trust who were super supportive and fantastic to Shona. Her story is below. Thanks in advance for all donations. xx

Im Shona Joyce I was 21 years old when I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in August 14th 2024. My diagnosis came to me as a shock I’d only turned 21 and my life was so good .I went through 8 rounds of intense chemo therapy as my cancer was Stage 3 and lost my hair within the first day of my chemo. I also had to undergo surgery and do weeks of ivf which worked for me .I was a recently qualified hairdresser so as you can imagine loosing my hair was a big thing to me . The Little Princess trust organised and funded my wig for me it was perfect and such a relief as wigs are so expensive and this was a shock I am doing the mini marathon in June 2025 to raise awareness for lymphoma and to raise money for the LPT so someone else can be as lucky as I was .The confidence my wig gave me in such a challenging time made me feel so much better every morning putting it on.
