My name is Jamison. My wife and I had a baby girl 7 months ago, who had Hydro plastic left heart syndrome. At the beginning of January she had her second surgery for HLHS. With in a short time she developed Chylothorax, which is a serious issue. The hospital here at Primary Children's in Salt Lake City, Utah felt it was something they could send us home with and proved to be a poor decision. Everyone we have spoken with, including other medical personal, feel the opposite. She was flown back on emergency flight from our home in Bozeman, Montana back to Salt Lake City. We have been here for about ten days and in that time this hospital has made several mistakes, including a nurse ripping out her chest tube. Because I am here with my family and unable to work through almost all of January due to there actions and choices we are in need of all the help we can get. Mostly we just need help with housing(hotel costs), food money, and perhaps even a little extra so our other three children can get some cheap entertainment or a movie.
