Hi family and friends! As many of you know, we uprooted our family and moved to Fremont, CA because our daughter Isabella was born Deaf. We moved here to give her the best Education possible. The school here is the best in the US. So as any parent would, we chose to move here. Bella is thriving and doing AMAZING here. But unfortunately financially it has taken a toll on us. My husband Bobby has been working his hardest week days and weekends doing Lyft and also searching for a job. He finally got a job at Stanford University doing what he loves, IT work. He is only doing part time so he is having to work other jobs to make up for it. I have been searching for something that I can do from home while caring for the kids. Fortunately I have something as well but won't see the profits from it for a couple months. That being said we don't have enough for rent and if we don't have rent we don't have a place to live. If we could just hang on financially a few more months and get help with our rent we could do it. Rent here is outrageous in the Bay area. But we are not willing to give up and move because we know our daughter needs to be here at this school, this is where she will thrive. We have seen it first hand how far she has just come since she has started in December. No public school can do that for her, she needs to be at a Deaf school. Bobby's job can move into full time if they like him, which isn't a problem for him because he is an amazing man. I'm not one to ask for help, but we really need it. We are not at this place because we haven't been working hard enough, because my husband is the hardest working man with a heart of gold. I know everyone is struggling and you may not be able to help. But if you are able to we TRULY TRULY appreciate it.
