My little sister Maddy went into cardiac arrest due to septic shock in the early hours of Sunday, March 10th.
She is still recovering at CHOC and we are asking for help to keep my parents at her bedside.
Her recent MRI shows the lack of oxygen caused some swelling & brain damage and only their voices can calm her.
At only 6 years old she has proved to be such a fighter!
As of 3/10 my parents have not left her side and do not have steady income to support them on top of this already difficult time. Doctors say Madelyn will remain in the hospital for at least a 30 more days.
Anything you can help with would be deeply appreciated!
