David's untimely demise family support
Donation protected
David Cruz , Alma Saldana and their three daughters have been members of the Curtner family since 2014 when Carolina began Kindergarten. This year Carolina, age 10 began 5th grade, Hadasa age 9, entered 4th, and Keren age 7, entered 1st.
Prior to Christmas break Señor Cruz came down with pneumonia, the severity of the pneumonia was intense and immediately had a severe impact on his lungs. The nature of the pneumonia in turn caused complications to his heart, liver, and kidneys. On Dec 16th, a medically induced coma was recommended by his treating physicians with the hope that his body would be able to actively fight the damage without continued strain.
With deep sadness we learned that Señor Cruz was unable to combat the extent of the damage to these systems and he passed away in the late afternoon of January 27th at Regional Medical. David was 41.
The Saldana Cruz family are familiar to so many of us at Curtner and in Milpitas, as demonstrations of care, love, and patience. Each of the girls has touched our lives in different ways; their kindness, humor, patience, and perseverance stand as a reflection to the emphasis their parents have placed on growing young people of strong character.
What has happened is beyond comprehension and the family is devastated and struggling to cope with the situation. David was known amongst family and friends as one of the most jovial people, always ready to help if someone should need it. There is no way to fill the gap of his absence, now or in the years to come. While emotional healing will take time, David was the only earning member and his immature demise has left his family in financial distress.
We are starting this campaign to assist the Saldana Cruz family with financial necessities during this difficult phase.
Funds collected will help in settling
1. Burial Expense
2. Settling any local expenses
3. Endowment for kid's education
