Family in need
Donation protected
Jay Rush, a mechanic in AA Facilities Maintenance at DFW is currently experiencing a family tragedy and he and his family need some assistance with caring for his brother Jerry’s school-aged kids-- Ashton (12th grade), Preston (9th grade) and Zoey (7th grade), and outfitting them with clothes and school supplies for the year, along with any funeral and legal expenses in the coming days.
Jay’s brother, Jerry Don Ratliff, a single father, and Army veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan, passed away suddenly on August 6, leaving behind five children ranging in age from 13 to 22. To further complicate matters, Jerry is predeceased by his wife, Wendy Renee Ratliff, who passed earlier this year on May 4. Currently, the family is working through the funeral arrangements, grief counseling and custody for the school-aged children until a long-term solution is reached. Any donation amount is welcomed.

Jay Rush (AA Maintenance) on the left, Jerry (his little brother that passed away) in the middle, Billy Rush (older brother) on right. Billy is taking in 3 of the school age kids for now and possibly permanently.
