My name is Alex Peacock and I am a Life Scout in the Flaming Aces patrol currently working toward earning my Eagle Scout Rank.
For my Eagle Project, I will be creating 12 wooden wrestling platforms and a cart to move them for the San Ramon Valley High School Wrestling Team. These platforms will be placed on the corners of the wrestling mats to put chairs for the team’s coaches to sit on, protecting the wrestling mats from damage during tournaments that usually last 10 to 12 hours.
Every year the SRVHS Varsity Wrestling team hosts their Annual Invitational tournament in January. This tournament draws hundreds of spectators and participants throughout Northern California and is one of the largest wrestling events in Danville, California.
The Wrestling team at SRVHS has greatly impacted my life as I have been part of the team since the 9th grade. Through this program, I have made numerous memories, and learned many lessons. That is why I am encouraged to give back to this community and build something that will allow the program to continue to grow.
To make this project possible, I am seeking to raise $2800 to cover the cost of materials and supplies. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful impact and help support the SRVHS Wrestling Team.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support!
