I'm reaching out with a heavy heart because my little sister is facing serious hardships and is at risk of eviction. She's a single mother who has been struggling ever since her fiancé unexpectedly passed away from diabetes two years ago. She works tirelessly in caregiving jobs but simply can't keep up with the mounting bills.

She lives with her adult daughter, who has type 1 diabetes and often lands in the hospital, and her 15-year-old son. Despite her best efforts—working every day and picking up extra shifts to cover rent, car payments, and groceries—it's just not enough right now.

Some family members have helped as much as they can, but times are tough for everyone. She just found out that her landlord is demanding two months of overdue rent to avoid eviction, and she and her kids could lose their home.
