Hi everyone.

I’m organizing this fundraiser for a Milwaukee mom I care deeply about. She is someone who has spent years showing up for others, feeding people in need, bringing comfort to families in crisis, and paying forward kindness even when her own life has been difficult.

But right now, she needs help.

A few months ago, her car broke down. She was working 50 hours a week while raising her kids on her own, and losing her only transportation meant losing her job. She’s been doing everything she can to hold her family together, but the truth is that the basics are getting harder and harder to manage.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help her stabilize her home again.

Funds will go toward essential household needs that most families take for granted, including:

• basic home necessities

• replacement of items that broke or wore out

• transportation support so she can return to work

• practical supplies that will bring stability back into her home

• and anything needed to make sure her children have what they deserve

She would never ask for help for herself. Ever.

But she has spent years helping other people. The least we can do is show up for her the way she has shown up for the community.
