Hi, my name is Janis Regan Mullinax, and Dick is my brother and Jo Ann is my sister-in-law.

3 weeks ago, Jo Ann and Dick were in a terrible car accident in Atlanta, Georgia. Jo Ann broke 2 bones in her neck, 3 fractures in her skull, a broken leg, a crushed heel, and a broken collarbone. Her 1st surgery was on her heel, and the other day, her leg. She is wearing a neck collar for now, and surgery may not be needed. Jo Ann is expected to have approximately a 3-month recovery. She has to be spoon-fed because her wrists lack the strength.

Dick miraculously just hurt his back. Dick has been having seizures for about a year. All kinds of tests have been run. We think he has CTE from prior football concussions, but that can only be diagnosed from an autopsy. He has been in and out of hospitals and needs 24-hour care. Jo Ann was his caretaker with a hired person who helped out 4 hours a day. Dick and Jo Ann would appreciate any donation you are able to give them.

Right now, Dick's 2 sisters and a brother have been/will be driving long distances to help out until we can find him hired caretakers.
