Support for the Walters' Family

I'm sure almost everyone in our little town has heard of the Walters (Tia, Doug and of course Lucas the Lionheart!) Any day now, this perfect little family was supposed to be expanding. Lucas was going to become a big brother to baby brother Henry. Unfortunately, that all changed on 1/16. At 39 weeks pregnant, Tia went into labor but sadly experienced a complete uterine rupture. This rare medical emergency proved to be a parent's worst nightmare. It took the life of their perfect, beautiful baby boy. Tia was rushed into emergency surgery and spent five days in the hospital battling an infection. On top of all that, next month, Lucas will undergo another heart catheterization procedure followed by an open heart surgery just two days later. Doug has been away from work and will miss even more in February to be with Lucas. Their family has been through so, so much, and we ask that the community come together to alleviate some financial stress during these tough times.
