Hurricane Melissa has caused heartbreaking devastation across Jamaica. Many families have lost their homes, their belongings, and in some cases, everything they own. Whole communities have been left struggling to rebuild their lives with little or no support.
This has deeply affected our family and community. We have strong roots in Burnt Savannah and Townhead, Westmoreland, and our hearts are with everyone across the island who has been impacted. We want to do something — not just talk about it — and that’s why we’re reaching out for help.
We’re collecting clothing, sanitary items, toiletries, non-perishable food, bedding, and other essentials to send directly to families who need them most. The outpouring of kindness so far has been amazing, but we still need help to make sure these supplies can actually reach Jamaica safely and quickly.
This fundraiser will help us cover the practical costs of getting these donations where they need to go — including shipping barrels from London to Jamaica and local delivery from the wharf to communities in need.
Our goal is to raise £2,000. This will cover:
• UK shipping costs
• Packing materials (barrels, tape, wrapping, etc.)
• Transport from the wharf to families in Westmoreland and surrounding areas
Right now, the shipping fees in Jamaica are being waived, which is a blessing, but there are still costs involved in preparing and moving everything. Any extra funds raised will go straight back into buying more essentials like food, baby supplies, and hygiene products.
We know that people like transparency — and rightly so. We’ll keep everyone updated and share receipts so you can see exactly where the money goes. Every penny will go towards helping those affected.
If you can’t donate financially, please consider helping by dropping off items or sharing this page. Even the smallest act of kindness can make a huge difference to someone who’s lost everything.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any help you can give. Together, we can send not just supplies, but hope, love, and support to the people of Jamaica — especially those in Burnt Savannah and Townhead — as they begin to rebuild their lives.
