Thank you so much for taking the time to read our GoFundMe page! We are Dave and Amy Kneifl. We have wanted to become parents for a very long time. Our story begins a decade ago when we finally found each other on E-Harmony after many years of searching. We found each other a little later in life, but it has been worth the wait! We met in December of 2010 and were engaged within three months. Our wedding was thirteen months later in April 2012. Before meeting, our lives have always revolved around children- Amy as an Auntie to three wonderful nieces and many years as an English as a Second Language and 3rd grade classroom teacher and “School Mama” to her students at Lincoln Elementary in the Madison School District as well as the time I spent as the Jr K lead teacher at Kings Kids Academy, and then there's Dave who has been an awesome Uncle to his two wonderful nephews and a niece. Now as a married couple, we’ve been able to share together in the lives of our combined nieces and nephews, but we have so wanted to have children of our own. We have spent the last six years on an emotionally difficult and expensive fertility journey. We put everything we had financially, as well as our hopes, into many failed attempts to have a child of our own. We were blessed with one positive pregnancy in 2017 that lasted sixteen weeks only to end in a devastating miscarriage, and our precious Wilhelmina Helen became our Angel Baby. Our world was turned upside down and we were living in a very sad and dark place for a long time. We miss her every day, but now, deciding to look into adoption, we feel hopeful again and see a tiny light at the end of the tunnel. We need your help to get to this light. We are now struggling financially considering all that we’ve been through to this point. We are asking for your financial assistance to help in making our dream of being parents come true. We are hoping to start the adoption process as soon as possible. Your financial help would aid us in paying for adoption expenses, as well as provide us with a healthy start to prepare to bring a new child into our home and maybe put some away for future expenses, such as education. Your assistance would help us to provide a child in need of a home with loving and nurturing parents. We would be forever grateful. Your generosity will never be forgotten.
