Support The XOXO Production Team

When we announced that we’d decided to cancel XOXO 2020, many people in the community reached out to see how we were doing and volunteered to help financially offset our costs. Because we canceled so early, we were able to cover our existing debts and obligations — but just barely. The festival will survive.

Unfortunately, the personal toll was high for our production team, who spend their entire year working as contractors on events like ours, and were pushed into financial uncertainty as the entire events industry shut down.

Our production lead Rachel Coddington and volunteer lead Steph Barnhart were hit particularly hard as each event they were slated to work on over the next few months was canceled or postponed, leaving them scrambling for income.

If you’ve been to XOXO, you know Rachel is the backbone of the festival, leading production and managing too many tasks to mention. Steph is most visible as the head of our volunteer effort, wrangling over 100 volunteers, as well as coordinating our food cart pod.



Both are brilliant and talented women, and both are parents supporting young children. With your help, we hope to offset some of their expenses and help them get through the next few months.

Any funds raised will split between them both. GoFundMe doesn’t take a platform fee, charging only a credit card processing fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 fee per donation.

NOTE: By default, GoFundMe selects a 15% "tip" on checkout. Feel free to change it to "Other" and type "$0" for 100% of your donation to go towards the fundraiser.
