It's a Wonderful Life Birthday Wish
Donation protected
For my 50th birthday in January, I am raising money for George Bailey. Well, not the actual George Bailey, but for a dear friend of mine who, like George Bailey, has spent his life giving to others. And like George Bailey, this friend of mine is in financial trouble. I am not revealing my friend's name because my friend would be terribly embarrassed. But this person is a sweet, honest person who has given tirelessly and selflessly to those in need. And because of this unselfish devotion to others, my friend is now in a difficult situation.
I know it's hard to give when you don't know who it is for, but I'm asking for your blind faith that this person I speak of deserves our help.
We need more George Baileys, aka my friend, in this world.
My goal is to receive one hundred $100 donations by January 26th (my b-day.) Those who find themselves able to give $100 or more will receive a "thank you" brass bell in the mail. As Zuzu says "Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings."
Thank you for reading and for contributing in any way you can.
P.S. It's a Wonderful Life is one of my favorite movies. Whenever I watch it I am reminded that the love of family and friends is all that really matters. It inspires me and lifts my faith in humanity. If you have not seen the movie please do so (and don't look at the clip I posted as it will spoil the ending.)
