Haringey Council plans to sell the historic White Hart Lane estate office at 100 Tower Gardens Road. They have set a tight deadline. If we do not secure this building for the community now, it will likely be sold on the open market to private developers and once it is gone, it is gone forever.
Residents are in conversations with the council about buying the building to bring it back to life for the use and benefit of the community.
The council have given us a letter of support, and we’re starting to talk to funders. We need to act quickly and we need funds to get us started.
Right now we need to pay for:
- building valuation: to agree on a fair price with the council
- condition survey: to understand the costs of restoring the building
- expert help writing a business proposal
