I am reaching out to anyone who is able to help. I come across an elderly lady last weekend who was lost, she has medical conditions and has been released from hospital this week back to her little caravan. Unfortunately due to the state of the van and the current weather , the roof is leaking and despite tarps and attempts to block it - it is unsafe for her to live in. The van has holes in the floor and walls and it breaks my heart to see. She is vision impaired and has other medical conditions. I was hoping if everyone can chip in $5 each or anything we can replace her van. It doesn’t have to be road worthy just able to get her a safe lockable, waterproof van. Any any any help at all would go a long way. This lady doesn’t expect hand outs or ask, I can just see the system is failing her, along with many and an opportunity to help. She would not want to burden anyone for help but I know if a few people throw in we can give her the safe space she deserves.
