We are 6 Sayville High School students who are seeking funds for two Little Free Pantry kits . Little Free Pantry is a movement that strives to make food available to anyone who needs it or wants it. People can take or give non- perishable goods like bread, PB, soups, snacks , canned or boxed goods/non perishable milk or juice boxes and water can also be placed inside. We plan to set up up two pantries at different locations in Sayville. Little Free Pantry does not sell kits, however, many volunteers purchase the libraries for the same purpose. We will use the funds to purchase vvtwo sheds and two installation posts (see picture). Each shed is $350 and each post is $80. Since Miracle on Main is cancelled, we would like to install them on one of those dates. All funds will go directly to our mission.
