SAVE OUR BRIDGE

We have organized to save the Sheepford Road Bridge in Cumberland/York Counties, Pennsylvania.  Built in 1887, it is rated 9 out of 10 in historic and technological significance.  The bridge was closed by the counties on January 29th, 2020 after failing inspection. This is a total grass roots effort by residents to save this beautiful bridge. Our goal is the eventual comprehensive restoration of the bridge.  We are currently seeking a new owner and funding.

This fund will be used to support our organizing efforts, and not directly for restoring the bridge.  Intended use includes publicity,  computer supplies,  consultant fees, legal fees, etc. in cases where we can not get these services through donations/volunteers.
