Project Gambia

Hi my name is Jack and I am currently in Year 12 at college.

I have been given the chance to join the Project Gambia trip in 2025. I would have the opportunity to go away to a developing country. Where the children live in extreme poverty. Every morning I will spend time with the children, interacting with them, doing simple activities which they aren’t normally able to do.

Every afternoon I will help to paint and decorate new school buildings. There is a specific classroom waiting to be painted as part of this project. Which means we really will make a difference to these children’s lives.

This really would be a life changing experience for me and I feel privileged that I, as part of the project, really will make a difference.

The funds that are donated would be towards raising money for the Gambia project (who support six schools in the most poverty stricken areas of Gambia) and towards funding for the actual trip.

I am also planning on doing some more fundraising through the year.

I would really really appreciate any donations.
