I know what CANCER does to the body. I have fought through that pain. I know what CANCER does to the mind. I have battled that uncertainty and doubt. I know what CANCER does to the soul. I have felt that loneliness and despair.

But know this: What cancer threatens to take from people, it is my goal to restore!

Hi! My name is Julie Shulman and I am officially a BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR! But, I want to help women around the world do more than SURVIVE, I want to help us all to THRIVE. I am raising money to help other BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS make it through the traumatic journey from surgery through post-op care and to full recovery.

I have created a line of APRONS designed to hold the Jackson-Pratt drains that have to be used 24 HOURS A DAY, for up to 14 to 17 days after breast cancer surgery.

The comfortable fabric I use is designed to be soft on the skin, because I know first hand that you DO NOT want anything irritating touching your incisions. The colorful designs are meant to remind you that you are more beautiful and whole now than you have ever been.

Even the most rudimentary of functions can be difficult post-operation. The truth is, most people have no idea what they are in for. My aprons are designed to distribute and balance the weight of the drains more evenly, so that little things like just getting up out of bed, going to the bathroom, or brushing your teeth can be done with as little added trauma and pain as possible.

The drain supporting aprons are just one aspect of my MISSION. I plan to bring comfort and strength to my fellow BREAST CANCER WARRIORS. Through usage of HEALING CRYSTALS, SOUND THERAPY, and the various HEALING MODALITIES I have learned over the years, I want to donate my time to being there with the courageous women who are so valiantly fighting.

Go fund me will cover the cost of materials and fabrics, crystals and time. All money will be used for the recovery of my fellow CANCER WARRIORS. I want to make recovery easier and more comfortable for everyone. In a time when finding comfort is very difficult, any level of peace that can be attained after a major surgery is vital to recovery.
