Support Rachel's Family in Crisis

This past year has brought great challenges to this family as their husband and father, Gaelen, chose to quit the police force and stop working at any sort of reliable job. He has been withholding information from his family, lying to them and being unavailable both physically and emotionally for quite a while now.

He was last seen by his family when he stopped in the house for his daughter’s birthday for a very short while, without a gift, then left to go “get food”. That was on March 24th. He’s left them with no money, no income, a broken down car requiring an immediate $3,000 in repairs, and a house in foreclosure.

He is unable to be reached, shut off his phone, and has gone AWOL from the army after all these years - leaving them without health insurance. After filing a missing person’s report, he was briefly found by the Dedham Police but still refused to speak with anyone, see his children, or help in any way. To date, he is still unresponsive. Rachel has tried to get him help, without success.

Our goal is to help Rachel get a divorce from this man, along with alimony and child support for their 5 children. We have taken money out of our retirement to help with legal fees but have been told these fees could become quite significant in a short time given the circumstances.
