Hello, you all know me, and if you know me you know I am not one to ask for help. It’s not that I am too proud it’s just that I feel if I have a problem I can solve or handle it on my own. But this one I’m having a really hard time with. It might sound trivial to some but to me it means the world. I guess I’ll get right to the point, I have four adult children, three of which live nearby, but my youngest son Nick has moved to Indiana several years ago. Not a day doesn’t go by when I don’t think of him, and miss him so much. It’s been over four years since I’ve seen him, hugged and kissed him, or talked face to face. Yes there is face time (which he doesn’t have) but it’s just not the same. With having lung cancer I have been blessed by the grace of God to have battled it for as long as I have, I have beaten the odds! But the thought always crosses my mind that someday, it will win the battle, It is not the best of thoughts but I don’t want the next time Nick sees me is at my funeral, I’m sorry to be so blunt, but these are things I think about. Well we have the opportunity to go see him at the end of October but with things the way they are I can not afford the trip. We would like to drive there, living paycheck to paycheck makes it impossible to save for the trip. So I am reaching out to you , for your help. Trust me I understand if you can’t help, and that is fine. I feel like such a loser even asking for help, but I don’t know what else to do, robbing a bank just isn’t in the cards lol. Well THANK YOU for listening to me and God bless I forgot the most IMPORTANT part he is getting married in October and that is why I want to be there. He is having a court house wedding, and it would mean the world to me if I could be there for him. Thank you for your support.
