Xander was the victim of a meningitis infection that has left him hospitalized for at least three weeks. During his recovery, his parents, Kyra and Jeb, will be unable to work full-time. This money would greatly help out with their living expenses during that month, as well as the hour+ commute back and forth from their home to the hospital.
