In Memory of Baby Liam

It is with the heaviest heart and sorrow that I am asking family and friends to grace my brother Jr. and sister-in-law Chanel with love and support. They suffered an unimaginable loss that no parent should have to go through, the loss of their newborn son, Liam.

On February 3, 2022, baby Liam was born much earlier than expected at 27 weeks old via an emergency C section. Although he was only 2lbs and 2oz, our little warrior was breathing on his own and was even able to drink milk on his own. The nurses and doctors told us he was doing well and fighting the entire time he was with us. They said he was a strong and feisty little boy! The next evening Liam suddenly got sick, his little body fought strong and hard, but on February 5, 2022, Liam gained his angel wings and passed away with his parents by his side, surrounding him with love.

Liam has two older brothers, Angel, 8 years old and Noah, 4 years old, who have both been very excited to meet their new little brother; their lives are also forever impacted. We are absolutely devastated. This GoFundme is to help Chanel & Jr. with burial expenses, hospital bills, and help them manage the next few months at home to grieve the loss of baby Liam and continue to provide for his brothers Angel and Noah.

Liam has been a part of their life from the moment they found out they were expecting. When you’re expecting a bundle of joy, your life becomes filled with hopes and new dreams for your family. No parent should have to prepare for such a devastating situation like this. I can’t imagine how heart-wrenching it is to carry your child for months and suffer such a tragic loss.

We don’t want Chanel & Jr to have to worry about anything other than their beautiful boys Angel & Noah and to focus on healing their hearts at this time. If you know my brother Jr. and Chanel, you know nothing makes them happier than spending time with their boys, their world revolves around their kids, and they work so hard to provide for their children.
