My mom, Aurelia Fagundes, only 40 years old, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in December of last year. Despite this, she hasn’t stopped caring for my family; she has been working two jobs in the midst of going to her chemotherapy treatments so that she can continue to provide for us.My Mom is a mother to me and my four other siblings and is one of the most genuinely caring people I know. She has constantly put others before herself, even if it means sharing the space inside our home. Her ability to be selfless in the face of her situation isn’t surprising, but the news of her cancer diagnosis was devastating and has put us through some financial strain. Any donation, even small, will do wonders in alleviating some of the stress we’re going through.
