We come humbly before you to ask for support- financially and/or through prayers. It feels silly to make this request, but we have prayed for help and now we lay our egos aside and will let God work through all of you.
As some of you know, over the past two years we have been in the courtroom advocating for our kids numerous times. This has cost us over $15,000, countless hours, and immeasurable stress- and all this just to try to allow Isaiah to be a father to his girls. Now, by the grace of God, we have been given another opportunity to ask for equal parenting time. On July 9th we have another custody trial, and we would like to be able to go into court represented by a lawyer that is knowledgeable and child focused. We believe that Isaiah’s daughters deserve both parents, but unfortunately it takes a lot to get our outdated family law system to understand the benefits of a father...which costs a lot of money :-(
Once the funds are raised, if there are excess funds we would like to use those to advocate to update the outdated laws through the Legislature. To support broken families throughout Oregon.
