Happy October! This year for my birthday and to align with National Disability Employment Month, I am asking for $5 donations to help support my transition program. I am preparing 18-22 year olds with intellectual and developmental disabilities for adulthood by providing in-house vocational practice as well as community enrichment activities. What would your donation go toward? Well, a little bit can go a long way!
- Ingredients for cooking/baking
- Entry fees to community events
- Purchasing practice at local stores
- Sensory items
- Dining out experiences
- Work experience-related clothing/necessities
- Hygiene kits.... and more!
Each donation brings a new opportunity! Thank you for your support!!

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is a national awareness campaign held annually in October to highlight the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities and to raise awareness about disability employment issues. The campaign focuses on the value and talent that people with disabilities bring to the workplace, the importance of an inclusive workforce, and the barriers that can prevent full participation in the workforce.
