My name is Mohamed Khaled Almasri, and I am from Khan Younis, Gaza Strip.
I was born and raised in Gaza — a place full of life, love, and unforgettable memories.
Our life was simple, but it was beautiful. ❤️
I remember waking up to my mother’s voice preparing breakfast, and hearing my brothers laughing and playing in our yard.
We didn’t have much, but we had love, family, and hope.
️
Then the war came… and it took everything.
Our home was destroyed — everything we owned, everything we built, gone in seconds.
Now, my father, my mother, my five brothers, and my sister are displaced in Khan Younis, living in extremely hard conditions — without a home, without safety, without stability.
Among my family is my younger brother, who was seriously injured during the war.
He needs urgent medical treatment outside Gaza, but we have no way to make that happen without help.
Every day his pain reminds me how fragile life is — and how desperately my family needs safety and care.
I now live in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
I came here hoping to build a future, to find peace, and to support my family.
But even though I am far away, my heart is still in Gaza.
Every morning when I see the rain in Belfast, I remember the smell of rain on Gaza’s sand — I remember my childhood, my neighbors, and the laughter of my brothers.
Today, I share my story because I need help — not for myself, but for my family.
They have lost everything. They are tired, hungry, and hopeless.
I want to bring them to safety, to give them a chance to live again.
To everyone who reads this:
Please help my family. Help Gaza. Help humanity.
Every act of kindness makes a difference. ❤️
