Most people on my Facebook know my story, but they don’t know all the details. In June 2022, the Department of Children and Families took my kids from me, which I’m not against. Although I wasn’t a drug addict, I had a drinking problem after my mom died. For the last three years, I’ve been working on maintaining sobriety and trying to get my kids back. After completing everything they asked me to do twice, they are trying to send me through one more loop. I have to do a hair follicle test, which I have no problem doing to show them my sobriety. The only issue with that is they want me to self-pay, and I have to go to Bradenton to get it done. The test includes a 5-panel drug screen and an ETG test. It is $339. I’ve been trying really hard to save for it, but as everyone knows, it’s slow season right now, and I just had a baby. So saving would take me months. I’m to the point of begging because I just want my kids back. My family misses my kids. They haven’t seen them for 3 years. This is the last hoop they have me jumping through. I normally don’t ask people for money, but I really want my babies back, and I know they want to be able to come to my house as well. I am asking if anyone is able to donate and help me get them back, I would greatly appreciate it. I’ve worked extremely hard to get on my feet and stay sober, but I need help with this one last thing! If anyone has questions, I will answer them honestly.
