Ulster Rapid Response is fundraising to support our operational expenses.
Ulster Rapid Response (URR) is an all-volunteer community-based detention and deportation defense group dedicated to keeping families together. Grounded in neighborhood solidarity, we train and educate to swiftly mobilize people and resources to support, protect, and defend immigrants and people at risk in Ulster County who are under vigilante attack by federal immigration enforcement.
URR has over 330 trained volunteers!
Your donation supports our ongoing work including:
Rapid Response: ICE watch, court watch, a hotline to report suspected ICE/federal immigration activity, and providing accurate information, dispelling rumors, and sharing verified updates quickly when ICE is confirmed
Operational support: training space, hotline expenses, print and educational materials, first aid and safety supplies, and snacks and food for volunteers
Outreach: engaging individuals, groups, and businesses, sharing Know Your Rights information, and supporting community initiatives like our school pledge and school board resolution campaign to protect immigrant students
Every dollar goes directly to resourcing our work and ensures we can continue building a strong network for the long haul, with the larger-goal of stopping ICE terror in Ulster County and everywhere!
Thank you for joining in support and standing with our community!
For donations over $500 there is a tax-deductible option through our fiscal sponsor. Please contact us directly to make this happen!
