YOU CANT CHOOSE WHO GOD USES TO BLESS YOU
So I decided to put my pride aside and start this go fund me account,
On Aug 5 my high risk OB doctor told me I had Placenta Previa ( where the placenta covers my cervix) and he then said I also had Placenta Accreta ( where the blood vessels and veins started to invade my uterus) I was told if I started bleeding I was to go to the hospital ASAP due to the risk of hemorrhaging and losing my baby’s life and mine.
My husband and I are truck drivers and we travel once a week to Florida and had planned to only work 2-3 more weeks so we can pay our bills and be able to take some time off, well on Aug 26 and only being 32 weeks in my pregnancy as we where waiting to drop of a load in Orlando Florida I started bleeding heavily, being parked at a shopping center we called 911 and i was taken to the hospital in Winter park Florida, the doctor did an ultrasound and confirmed the placenta Previa and placenta accreta. I also have chronic hypertension so they decided to transfer me to ADVENTHEALTH in Orlando Florida where they have the best high risk OB hospital and doctors. I was told that I was to be hospitalized till I delivered via c-section and that I would have to have a hysterectomy because the risk of hemorrhaging where high.
Being 2000 + miles away from our home and our babies ( 3 little girls ages 6,3, and a 10 month old) we where debating on getting in that diesel and driving back home, but the doctor got upset and said we would be risking my baby and my life.
So we decided to stay....
Our boss flew someone out to pick up the diesel so my husband was unable to work while being out here, we have been out here for a little over 3 weeks with no work, no family, no transportation, low on funds and nothing at home or here for our baby boy that was on its way.
At 35 weeks and 4 days which was Sept 17 I had my c section and a hysterectomy.
My baby boy was born at 5 lbs 10 oz and is currently in the NICU, where doctors said his lungs are still little so he can’t breath on his own or even eat on his own. They tried sticking a tube in his nose and where unable so now they will let us know in a couple of days if he will need surgery. If he stays for surgery doctor said he might have to stay at least 2 weeks to a month and I might get discharged in a couple of days, leaving us with no where to stay out here
This has been a very difficult time for us, we have not been able to work for the last few weeks and still not sure how long we will be stuck out here, or how we will get home? Our rent and bills at home will be about 2 months behind and we still don’t know when we will be able to go home to our babies, or back to work.
It for that reason that we decided to put our pride aside and and humbly ask for help in this very emotional and stressful time in our life. We ask first of all for prayers to keep us strong during this storm and financial help to get us through this financial hardship we are now facing, any amount will help and we will be very thankful. We are seeking for funds to help us with the following,
1.Food to eat while we are here and the possibility of a place to stay
2.Help to pay our bills back home
3.To be able to purchase what my baby needs since we were not prepared for his early arrival
4. To be able to get us back home to California to our babies
