I'm reaching out to friends, family and anyone who feels called to help. A friend (who is like family to me) is at risk of losing her apartment in LA. She's a single mom who has a 15yo son that is like my second son and Riot's brother. Both are amazing and loving people who would give someone the shirt off of their backs. She lost her car several months ago when it finally quit working. Her son takes the bus over an hour to and from school everyday and never complains... she's been trying to get on level ground for a long, long time but obstacles keep coming up. She's on disability (for legitimate reasons) she works any job she can. She shows up 100% for her kid. She is one of the sweetest ,most loving people I know. She's trying and doing all she can. I'd love to raise enough so she can have some breathing room and security while she navigates the challenges that have presented themselves lately.

She's asked to remain anonymous because she's embarrassed and beating herself up over things that have been beyond her control.
