End Child Sex Slavery: Asia Trip

Dear friends and family,
Many of you may not know that recently I had the opportunity to join the team at Remember Nhu as a communications intern. Remember Nhu is a non-profit organization committed to ending child sex slavery through prevention. We identify children around the world who are at risk of being sold by providing them with a home in which their physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. We currently have 50 children’s homes in 11 countries, and a total of 1,100 children who are being protected from the global sex trade.
I’ve always wanted to help in the fight against human trafficking and have loved children my whole life; however joining the front lines of this battle was a bit of a step of faith, knowing there would be some things I would have to raise support for. One of those things is an upcoming trip to Thailand this October, in which all of the Remember Nhu workers from around the world will gather at one of our children’s homes for a time of celebrating what God has done, encouraging our on-the-grounds workers, casting vision for the future, and spending time playing with a group of our children who have been saved from the sex trade.
This is a really important trip for me as I continue to seek out plans for my future, and it’s simultaneously a great opportunity to collaborate with the staff of Remember Nhu on setting our goals and strategies for this next year in how to save many more children from this terrible injustice.
The cost for me to go on this trip to the other side of the world and back is a total of $2,500. I will need this within the next few weeks in order to make all the right travel reservations, so my clock has just begun ticking!
All that to say: Would you consider giving even a minimal amount toward my trip to help me end child sex slavery? It would mean the world to me.
Even if I don’t meet my goal, I will make sure every dollar you give will go toward this trip and/or our efforts with Remember Nhu to end child sex slavery.
