Giving my dad the break he deserves.

Hi! My name is Michelle. This special man im raising for is my dad.

My dad has been the sole provider for our family for our entire lives, he gave my mom the ability to do what she loved most which was stay at home and raise us even though he struggled alone. We lost her to cancer 3 years ago this month. I never had the ability to retire my mom or take her on vacation before she passed. I don’t want it to be too late to get this chance with my dad. My dad nearly lost the house three years ago and had to refinance because he was struggling to make ends meet while my mom was going through chemo, take care or his own health (almost lost his life to congestive heart failure and had to have a knee replacement), and juggle everyday life. Even with his “social security check” he doesn’t make enough to pay the house let alone the rest of his bills so at almost 67 years old he continues working everyday. He’s tired. I’m helpless.

im starting this gofundme in hopes that if I can’t retire him atleast I can give him something he hasn’t had in over 15 years - a well earned vacation. Rest. Back to the island he is from. I barely make ends meet for myself, if I could give him the world I would because despite us barely getting by he never ever let the roof come off over our heads and he always made sure we had food in our mouths. I’ve seen the power of social media & I don’t expect anything but I would be so blessed if I was able to surprise him. I wish TikTok still paid for views, ever since changing over I only make money if I sell products which is not going very well for me - so the money I can give him isn’t enough.
