My name is Katie Dunlevy and I am 14 years old at Richard Rose Morton Academy. I am excited to have been given an opportunity to visit Kenya. I am fundraising for the trip of my dreams, aspiring to help unfortunate African communities. In Kenya I will be working directly with local communities to support projects and that creates a long-lasting positive change. This opportunity will allow me to assist with essential needs such as education, nutrition and community development whilst also learning. With your support I would be able to achieve this once in a lifetime trip that will fill me of experience, teach me how to be resilient, learn complex life skills and making me realise how grateful I am to live the life that I am living. This includes not having to worry about having a roof over my head with access to clean drinking water. On this experience I will be helping the community for the better by improving their quality of life and impacting on their living spaces.
