I started this gofundme because my son is in the middle of his third court case with my grandson's mother, Danielle Landron, who violated a court order and took my grandson in November 2023. I believe she has engaged in extensive emotional abuse including parental alienation - deliberately causing harm to the child-parent relationship between my son and my grandson.

The first court case was due to the divorce, where my son offered joint custody and visitation and Danielle refused. After over 3 years, he ran out of savings, settled and received the minimum visitation by law.

The second court case began as a settlement offer, to formalize five years of shared and equal visitation as well as joint decision making. Danielle fought against it vehemently, claiming my grandson didn't deserve to be with my son equally. They settled based on the recommendation of all attorneys, including a court appointed attorney who oversaw the best interests of my grandson.

After the conclusion of the second case, Danielle violated the previous court order where both parents had equal parenting, filed a motion against my son with the court, claiming he was physically and emotionally abusive, which is completely and utterly false. Because of this, the court refused to reinstate visitation until the conclusion of reunification therapy.

Although it's since been revealed through numerous psychologists and therapists (6 in total) that there was never any physical or emotional abuse, Danielle continues to prevent my grandson from seeing my son on a regular basis. She frequently interferes with visitation, starting arguments in front of her son with my son, and continuing, I believe, too manipulate my grandson. Her patterns are indicative of a woman with borderline personality disorder, and as a psychologist of over 35 years, it's heartbreaking to see the emotional damage she is inflicting on her son (my grandson) and my son and our family.

Before this violation of the court order, my grandson spent 50/50 time with both parents. Additionally, the court appointed attorney for my grandson has acknowledged that my son nor his home is a threat to my grandson.

In spite of Danielle’s continued abuse of court orders and motions, visitation is severely restricted. Because there has been no agreement, my son is going to trial. Brandon has a phenomenal attorney but because of the number of psychologists and therapists, as well as the number of motions each party has filed, it'll be prohibitively expensive.

To date, he has spent over 6 figures ($150k+) on legal fees for these two different cases. He has been laid off three times from the tech sector over the past two years and is actively looking for work. Savings is running out and retirement is gone.

I believe her intention is to use the legal system through her lawyer to keep my grandson away from my son as well as his whole family on my sons side.
