This charity has been created in loving memory of Noah McAleese, a bright, joyful little boy who brought end,Ed’s light and laughter to everyone around him.

In November 2022, just one week after his second birthday, Noah passed away suddenly following an accident. In the wake of loosing Noah, the family wanted to honour his life by advocating for change.

⭐️ Our Mission ⭐️

The aim of Noah’s Story is simple- to ensure families facing bereavement are met with compassion dignity and care.

With that main objective in mind, a core focus of our work will include:

The creation and maintenance of dedicated bereavement spaces in hospitals across Northern Ireland — calm, private rooms that offer warmth and a softer landing during life’s hardest moments.

⭐️ Supporting trauma-informed training for hospital staff, ensuring they are equipped to appropriately support and care for families experiencing bereavement.

⭐️ Partnering with Pure Poetry to offer families a heartfelt way to honour their loved ones through a sponsored personalised poem- a beautiful way to capture, love, loss and remembrance.

Together with the Northern Health and Social Care Trust, we have helped deliver the Infinity Room at Causeway Hospital — a calm, private space for grieving families. This special room was officially opened on 12th November 2025 by the Health Minister Mike Nesbitt in memory of Noah.

Your generosity will directly fund these core aims. Thank you for helping us make a meaningful difference.
