WW1000 for Citymeals on Wheels
Tax deductible
Worthwild is not just a shuttered restaurant. It's a family and community that we believe even when separated has the power to affect some good. Next weekend Team Worthwild is going to run a cumulative thousand miles over three days to help raise money for Citymeals on Wheels. Everybody will run masked and solo and then post their daily miles on Instagram and we'll track the whole journey on our home account @worthwildnyc. We've got everything from unfit ultra runners to people who haven't run a day in their lives so at the very least it should be entertaining.
If you can we’re asking you to help support NYC’s most vulnerable senior population. Meals on Wheels provides seniors with home delivered meals so our high risk individuals don’t feel compelled to venture outside and risk their lives amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Donate and save lives.
More information about Citymeals-on-Wheels: Citymeals on Wheels provides a continuous lifeline of nourishing meals and vital companionship to homebound elderly New Yorkers in need, helping them live with dignity in their own familiar homes and communities.
