Colton was taken to the eye doctor for a routine eye exam. They saw an issue with the optical nerve in both eyes. The eye doctor called the neurologist to do a MRI. Neurologist said to bring him to The Children's Hospital in Detroit for a MRI immediately. He had a CT scan and they saw some abnormalities. Colton’s MRI confirmed that he does have a brain tumor on the Left side of his brain. They will be doing emergency surgery Tomorrow at 7:00 AM. Once the tumor is removed, they will then be taking it to be biopsied to determine exactly what it is. They said Surgery takes about 5-7 hours, and then 5-7 hours in ICU for recovery. They are putting in a drainage tube to release all of the fluids around his brain. After surgery, they will be transferring him to MRI to see if they got everything during surgery before the healing process begins. Please keep Colton and his family in your prayers!
