Hi, my name is Tey and I’m 25 years old. I never imagined I would be in this position, but I’m reaching out because my family truly needs help.

My dad was recently deported, he was recently diagnosed with cancer so he isn’t doing so well and he needs to be home with us. His sudden absence has turned our lives upside down. I am now doing everything I can to support myself and my two young children, but the financial and emotional strain has been overwhelming especially not doing if my dad is gonna be OK not being able to speak with him or see him every day. My children miss their grandpa.

We are struggling to cover basic necessities like rent, utilities, groceries, and childcare. On top of that, there are legal and immigration-related expenses involved in trying to bring my dad back home. He is not just my father — he is a loving grandfather and the backbone of our family.

I am working hard to stay strong for my kids, but this has been one of the hardest times of our lives. Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page, would mean more than I can put into words.
