UPDATE ON FLYNN’S RECOVERY ❤️
HE IS OFF LIFE SUPPORT AND BREATHING ON HIS OWN
However he is VERY out of it still and in an unbelievable amount of pain, as you can imagine. He has begun to gradually communicate slightly, has said a few muffled words to mum & Dad like “in pain” “love you guys” and holds our hands and will give us a little squeeze while doing so. It is obviously still really early days in this part of his recovery but we are seeing good progress with brain function connecting body parts and movements ect. He can open his eyes, however he cannot focus them on anything.
His surgery in his wrist went really well, so all surgery’s on his limbs and pelvis have now been done and he will continue to have physio on them, which right now is exhausting for him and very painful but will be worth it in the long run.
I’m sorry for the delay in updating you all, it has been a VERY overwhelming week for our family.
We cannot be more appreciative for every single one of you, and all the love, support and prayers we have received. We wouldn’t have made it through without you all. Thankyou for keeping Flynn and our family in your thoughts. We are truly grateful. Will continue to update at the end of the week. Love you all x

UPDATE ON FLYNN’S RECOVERY ❤️
Unfortunately there is not a lot to update on at this point as it is still very early days in this long journey ahead for our beautiful Flynn. With some hiccups and positives also already, we are all just praying and hoping for strong progress after his surgery today, so we can gradually begin moving forward. He is currently still in a coma and will be for atleast a few days before they start to reduce the sedation, however he is in theatre for surgery on his wrist right now, and will also be having a skin graft on the leg that was badly broken that was already operated on, over the weekend. The surgery he had already was to reconstruct his knee/leg aswell as his pelvis. This surgery went very well, however will obviously require rehab physio on both his leg and wrist.
Unfortunately, we will not know the extent of his brain injury until he is awake. For now it is just a very heart aching waiting game and doing nothing but praying and hoping for the best possible outcome.
On behalf of our entire family - THANKYOU from the bottom of our hearts, for every single message, prayer, donation, prepped meals, flowers and everything in between. Not a single thing has gone unnoticed and we are touched by every single one of you. The endless love and support has been what is getting us through this heart breaking time and we truly couldn’t be more appreciative. We love you all!
I will continue to update when there is more to do so on. Thankyou for all the love and support

Late Friday night, our brother Flynn was hit by a car while riding home on his bike. Flynn was rushed to the PA hospital in critical condition and is now currently in a coma with bleeding on the brain, and several broken bones, punctured lungs and more.
He was rushed in for emergency surgery upon his arrival at the hospital to relieve the pressure within his head and suspected perforated bowel and is having another surgery at midday today to reconstruct his pelvis, leg/knee and his wrist.
Flynn is in for a very long road to recovery and many hospital and specialist appointments to follow. Along with this comes the heavy medical bills, loss of income for our parents while they care for him on this journey ahead and many more expenses. If there is anything I can do, I know relieving this pressure so our parents can just be present in his recovery will help drastically. Any help will be beyond appreciated during this time.
Please pray Flynn makes a full recovery and comes out of this horrific accident. He is the light in our lives, the one who is forever making us laugh and has the world at his feet.
Thankyou for all the love and support. It is truly appreciated beyond words.
