Wubben Family Adoption: A Path of Love and Faith

WUBBEN ADOPTION JOURNEY! 

As we talked about growing our family, we always knew adoption pulled at our hearts-even early on in our marriage. The last four years of trying to grow our family have been a roller coaster of emotions, but we knew God was with us every step of the way. Through all of those emotions, adoption was still on our hearts. We felt called to go down the IVF journey, which led us through more emotions, trials, and confusion. We knew our journey to build a family wasn’t done, but we were left at a crossroads to either try IVF again or step into the adoption journey. 

We took some time to process our thoughts and prayed so hard for clarity. We learned a little more about both journeys and our hearts were filled with so much joy at the thought of adoption. Ryan and I love being Aunt & Uncle to so many loved ones, but know our hearts were made for Mom & Dad too. Even through the heartache, we gained so much strength. Strength in each other, in our relationship, and our faith with God. He may have led us through the valley, but we know He never leaves us. God knows our plans, well before us and lays them out for us at perfect timing. If we continue to trust in Him, pray with Him, and follow His word-we know that He has us & He is so so good. 

God called us right to this moment and we couldn’t be more excited to walk through this journey with Him and our future Birth Mom. We’re ready to share our story & know that we need to lean on our community for strength, support, and prayers. 

We’ve created a go fund me page & launched our fundraiser to help with the expenses of adoption (ranging from $40,000-$50,000). Our journey has been long to get here but we can’t wait to become Mom & Dad & raise our family in the heart of the small towns that rooted us to who we are today. You all mean so much to us & we are so thankful to live where neighbors become family & community becomes home!  We are so grateful from the depths of our hearts for all the love, support, financial gifts, and prayers you have shown us throughout our Wubben Adoption Journey.
